You do "challenges" to get points and you can use your points to get stuff from their rewards or a gift card to use at the WGU store. I've been at WGU for a year and a half and gotten a WGU blanket, tumbler, whiteboard, 2 notebooks, a phone grip, and a WGU owl stuffy for free. I feel like I'm stealing 😭😭😭 which I know I'm not cause I've spent over 12,000 dollars in tuition. I could have gotten a hoodie or something like that but the only one I liked was $85 and I wasn't patient with my points. I spent them randomly on smaller stuff I really don't need 😂 the blanket is really nice though.

Looks like the rewards are back open on Owl's Nest. The blanket is the only thing available and it is now 1,055 points vs. the 500 points it was previously.

I just logged onto the Owl’s Nest and noticed that most of the rewards are gone now.

It appears you can no longer get gift cards to the WGU Store, and they only have a limited amount of swag.

I’ve been saving up my points for the Owala tumbler that was on there, and was less than 200 points away from having enough. Now I can’t get it, and I can’t a gift card either. I’m so disappointed!!

There is literally nothing worth getting with my points at the moment. The blanket is the nicest looking thing there right now, but I don’t need a warm fuzzy blanket at this juncture—as a matter of fact, I had one and it was one of the many things I donated when I moved.

Took me about 2 hours. Lots of clicking on links to learn about programs. The biggest is taking the Outlook course on LinkedIn Learning that nets 350 points. If you leave the videos on at 2x speed, it'll automatically go through all of them and then just take the short quizzes to finish.

3100 points is almost enough for 3 blankets. I know everyone loves those. I think I'm using mine for a new backpack.
