All above symptoms, except the weight gain. I had brain fog, woke up in a confusing about what to do. Words would go away, could not recall everyday items and people. My boss made fu of me, knowing that I was suffering. I was terrified. My primary doctor refused to help. My psychiatrist just wanted to give ne anti depressants. I refused. Finally, my rumatoligist tested me for everything, 7 vials of blood. I am off water pills ,blood pressure medication and arthritis pills. More on reddit.com

My symptoms started last January. Severe stomach issue and weight loss, I would constantly get dehydrated from not being able to even drink fluids because of my pain. My hair was falling out and Just was not feeling right. I would also get very cold and tired. After a 35lb weight loss I went back to my doctor and looked him straight in the eye and said, "I feel like I'm dying". I had had so many test done at that point but not the right ones, my CEA and calcitonin levels were never checked. I did have a high ferritin level but my doctor wrote that off because of the endoscopy/colonoscopy I had recently had. They were going more with my stomach issues and my endo/colonoscopy which was clear. I went for my yearly CT scan for my lungs because I'm an ex-smoker and that's when they detected the nodules. Ended up being Medullary thyroid cancer. Thank God I did that scan as I almost wasn't going to go and by that time my doctor was starting to write it all off as anxiety causing my issue. Be your own advocate and keep fighting. I had my surgery at the end of August. I had a TT and 7 lymph nodes removed, the lymph nodes came back clear. Right now they say I'm clean, they think they got it all. I don't think I would be here today if I didn't stop pushing for answers. More on reddit.com
