Title, i often see Semrush recommended on SEO sub, but does any of you find it useful for non SEO things? Like PPC, Social Media, CRM, etc? I see so many functions in Semrush dasboard... Or are there better tools for all these things?

I like the backlink feature and website audits. I also like the ability to do competitive research.
Semrush - is it essential or are there better alternatives?
Industry standards are SEMrush, Screaming Frog and Ahrefs at the moment. You want one tool for keyword research, backlink tracking and competitor analysis (Semrush or Ahrefs) and one for crawling your client's sites (Screaming Frog - Semrush and Ahrefs can also be used). They are quite expensive, but they will save you time once you have a couple of clients. Starting keyword tools are keysearch (google a discount code for 30% off) and ubersuggests. They aren't as accurate or updated as regularly, but they are good for testing the waters. More on reddit.com

There isn't anything indispensable, but I like it having everything in one place. I think other tools do specific items better. Features I use most: Site Audit - runs weekly so I get notifications when a client has an issue GBP & Listing management - grid rank tracking, review monitoring, and listing updates Rank Tracking - has local, integrates with Looker, options for ChatGPT and AI Mode On Page SEO Checker - not perfect, but I check this for content optimizationideas Content Ideas - plan blog posts, faq content, video topics I still use Ahrefs for link analysis and check it against Semrush. If there is a tool that has all that in one place and does it better, I would definitely try it. More on reddit.com
