People across the Gaza Strip urgently need clean water and sanitation services, hygiene items (including menstrual products), fuel, food, medicines and clinical supplies, shelter, lighting and energy, and protection and mental health support.

The Egyptian Red Crescent Society confirmed on 12 October that 400 trucks carrying more than 9,000 tonnes of aid had crossed the border into Gaza.
