I hate that all the affiliate blogs got caught in the crossfire, but with the way Gawker conducted themselves they absolutely had the lawsuit coming. ... Don't read or like Kotaku anymore after it lost Schrier and a few other good writers, but I dread the day it shuts down because a certain part of the internet will take it as a win regardless of the circumstances and be absolutely insufferable.

Because of that, folding everyone into the parent brand isn't really on the table, as that'd be a huge influx of brand new hires.
