I think she regularily gets beaten up by her inmates I have no idea what Isauro Aguirre is doing tbh. I don‘t think they‘ll publish a book but they live with an uncle now (I believe it‘s Arnold Contreras‘ brother?) https://youtu.be/agjEyI9ukK4 I think they had a disgusting relationship that‘s why. The parents would abuse him because the boyfriend would „protect“ Pearl from Gabriel who would „disappoint“ her. They‘d get turned on by the abuse it‘s so sickening. Copying & pasting my comment from the deleted post so we can have a discussion :) I agree. This case is absolutely devastating and I can't think about it without getting a lump in my throat. As an educator, I just wanted to point out that from a legal standpoint, there's nothing his teacher could have done. She reported it, documented it, and that's where her involvement had to end. You legally can't keep a child from their parents or from returning home after school without serious repercussions and the teacher also had a family and livelihood to think about. I just wanted to say this because I've seen many people over the years blaming her as well (not you, OP). More on reddit.com

I was 23 years old and living abroad to escape my own shitty circumstances when poor Gabriel was murdered, so I never heard about it on the news.
In the past week, there has been another similar child abuse case here in Florida and Gabriel Fernandez was mentioned. Naturally, as a journalist, I watched the documentary and did a deep dive on everything Gabriel.
I still have so many questions, but last night came across this interview with Pearl conducted within the last year.
The last update I heard regarding Pearl before listening to this interview was from a former inmate at Chowchilla regarding how Pearl’s face had been sliced up with a tuna can.
Anyway, wondering how many people have seen this interview and what your thoughts are on it? I personally am upset to hear that she is doing so well and totally disgusted by how she claims to have turned towards Christianity. This is one of the reasons I don’t believe in God or organized religion.

Full disclosure: I won’t be watching this, because fuck that, but I still wanna say… I understand people will do anything for clicks, but giving pieces of shit like this a platform is a special breed of low. (I know this isn’t your interview, OP, so this isn’t directed at you.) I doubt she’s doing amazingly well, but part of the problem with giving this slag the time of day is, of course she’s gonna see it as an opportunity to paint herself in a better light and “own the haters 🤪”.
