I just finally got bank account and I was thinking about connecting the credit card on PayPal so I can pay when needed things directly from it, but I obviously fear the shading ways of pay Pal, and I don't want to sentence that card to become something PayPal would eventually fuck over in any way
Could you give me some tips or infos?

Hi everyone,
I recently encountered a strange situation with my PayPal account, and I wanted to share it here to see if anyone else has experienced something similar or knows what I should do.
A few days ago, I noticed some unusual activity on my PayPal account. Upon checking, I found out that someone had linked their credit card to my account and was making transactions. Surprisingly, the transactions weren’t using my money – they were charged directly to this person’s credit card.
For instance, they bought Robux (Roblox’s virtual currency) using their card through my PayPal account. The purchase went through, but I found it suspicious, so I reported it to PayPal as unauthorized activity. PayPal eventually refunded the money to their credit card.
Here’s the strange part:
They got their money back because PayPal refunded it.
The Robux they bought is likely still in their possession (or their Roblox account).
Now I’m wondering if this person might have intentionally done this to exploit the system – using my account as a kind of "proxy" for purchases to avoid detection or accountability.
My concerns are:
Why would someone link their own credit card to another person’s PayPal account?
How does PayPal handle such cases? Will they investigate further to see if this is some kind of scam?
Is my account at risk because of this incident?
I’ve since unlinked the credit card from my account and tightened my account security, but this situation still feels very odd to me.
If anyone has insight or similar experiences, I’d really appreciate your advice or thoughts. Thanks in advance!
Will it just charge my credit card if my paypal balance is zero?
