If you want to evaluate part of a formula, highlight it and press F9. Very useful when trying to find errors. e.g. if you have the formula: = (A1 - B1) / A1 and you highlight the first part, and press F9 it will temporarily change to: = 1200 / A1 This really comes in handy when you have multi-part formulas and need to workout what clause or function within it isn't working. If you want to know more about functionality that most people don't know about, try looking at Power Query, which is great for doing repetitive data processing. If you just want to take an interest in some little-known formulas, go to the Formulas tab on the ribbon and click through all the formula groups, starting with 'Financial'. You can find some fascinating things in there, especially under Lookup & Reference, although you might find other things appealing. More on reddit.com

INDEX and MATCH are still good to learn. Even if you have 365 its faster with large sets than XLOOKUP. I’d add RIGHT/LEFT/MID and FIND, ISNUMBER, and SEARCH. I use these frequently to extract specific data from strings. Wildcards are important to learn too in my opinion. Useful in a variety of formula. More on reddit.com

In the example you give, CEMPRICE is a sheet reference, so you would have a sheet named "CEMPRICE" (look on the sheet tabs).
You can call up help to look at a built-in function definition, by hitting F1, or using the menu.
For User-defined functions (macros, UDFs) you'll have to go to the VBA editor, the easy way is hitting Alt-F11.

In the help search bar in the upper-left corner of the Excel window, type CEMPRICE and see what MS says about the function.
Or google "excel function CEMPRICE". I did this, however, and it didn't return any relevant results, so this is either a custom function defined in the VBA/macros for this sheet, or it's not a function.
