What careers are available for computer science majors in the sports, fitness, and nutrition industry?
There are various ways to go in those particular fields. I'm not super familiar with them but I know of the following: Working for a fitness hardware company - I'm talking about places like Fitbit or Nike, which hire software developers to work on firmware or the supporting systems around them. Fitness app makers - RunKeeper, Strava, etc. Software developer for professional sports teams - a lot of pro sports teams (and maybe a lot of college teams?) are getting into data science and analytics and want software developers to build their own analytics platforms and such.
