So I noticed for the last 1-2 days there is a weird URL showing up in the browsing history when opening up my outlook web and then heading to my profile picture and then clicking on my microsoft account. The url is https amcdn (dot) msftauth (dot) net/me/callgraph#code=somecode&state=anothercode . From what I can see online this seems to be a normal URL and its also coming up in the network tab in the dev tools when browsing through outlook and other microsoft pages. I just find it odd that this specific URL is now popping up in the history when it didn't before. It also doesn't show up in another browser profile with the same account. Anybody got a clue whats going on? Has anybody else had this happen?
Edit: I‘m starting to believe this is some caching issue along the line somewhere. Updated my profile picture because I wasn’t using one yet and that removed the url from popping up when going from outlook to the account view. It still pops up when looking through the community forums and comparing the chrome devtools network tab from the browser profile where it happens with one where its fine, it seems that somewhere a response of that callgraph gets mixed around with something else (hard to describe specifics as I‘m only on mobile right now.). So if its some caching issue I‘m not yet sure where to start because I already cleared the browser cache once which had me log back into everything.. "worst" case I‘ll switch browser profiles if it keeps happening because its weirding me out lol
Do you know what is website (https amcdn (dot) msftauth (dot) ) do? Someone remote control my pc and go to this website
I got this URL come up in my browser history when I had been on the MS community forums: https://amcdn.msftauth.net/me/callgraph#code=M.C556_SN1.2.U.861ee12a-f199-52dd-46a4-ba3aefe56ab1&state=eb04be76-268b-4ed3-b5d2-7a6c2deaeba3.
It was in my history several times each time I posted on the forum. I've never had this before. And I was posting in the forum about an odd email that I got from Microsoft. I think the email and the links in it were legitimately Microsoft, but the content of the email was about a change in price for the Microsoft 365 Personal subscription. But the price was in Chilean currency and I don't live in Chile, let along South America. And the email was in English, not Spanish.
Is ' https://amcdn.msftauth.net' related to Microsoft two-factor? When I google it I get a mix of things including things indicating it was malicious.
Thanks!
