I was wondering what the 'mode, medium and form' of a book actually is (In terms of Year 11 English). And how they contribute to meaning/Audience reception. I can't find any examples or a clear definition of it, so any help is really appreciated. Does anyone have any simple examples or a simple definition?

What are the different types of mode?
There are multiple different types of modes. Spoken mode when the ideas are spoken aloud. The written mode is when a piece is written down. When the two are mixed together this is called blended mode. A type of written mode is the narrative mode. The narrative mode is how a story is told.
