What is Sonar doing that Snyk isn’t? But yeah, honestly you need to either consolidate tools or get you an ASPM to bring everything together, correlate and dedupe findings and use that as your “single pane of glass” as it were. More on reddit.com

We're looking to improve security and Snyk looks like the industry leader in for SAST, vulnerabilities in images, IaC analysis.
We use GitHub with Dependabot. Wondering what your experience has been and if it's actually worth to have it.

We use Snyk in our pipeline and it reports so much stuff that the devs just said fuck it and set allow_failure: true so they could continue to do builds. Snyk concerns get filed away into tech debt no one intends to pay down

It is very good indeed and probably worth the money. Unfortunately, the minute you engage with them as a company they will contact you and your colleagues so much that you will regret every second of looking at their product. They're not the only company in the market to have rabid salespeople, but they are certainly at the Cisco / Oracle / Palo Alto level of annoyance. It's a good product, but if you're anything like 99% of the technical people I know, the customer experience of dealing with them will be upsetting.
