I am brand new to owning a credit card. I have a discover it cash back card and have been wondering if there is a way to find out exactly what stores I can get the 5% cash back from. For example, this quarter we can earn 5% back on "Gas Stations & Electric Vehicle Charging Stations, Home Improvement Stores, and Public Transit". While Gas stations and Public transit is self explanatory, it is hard to tell exactly what stores will count as home improvement.
Is there a location I can find this information at or a resource I can use to determine whether a store will qualify as a home improvement store?
Im 20 and just got my first credit card. My Grandmother said it’s better to pay the monthly bill in full, but my mom said it’s better to pay the minimum, because if you pay little by little it’s builds your credit score more than paying in full(I’m paraphrasing she said sum like dat). What is the better thing to do?
