I mean, I know you need money to live, but what if someone doesn't have a great career, or their own place, or their own car? Like, besides monetary things, what makes a person worthy in your eyes?
For a long time i've been thinking of this question and I struggle to find an answer. I get this feeling that no matter what I do, how I present myself, what i'm like, there's always gonna be plenty of people who are better or more unique than I am. So what makes me as an individual valuable?
What makes any one of us significant? If I work hard at a hobby or skill, there will always be people who are much better at it than me. If I try to make social connections, there's always other people who have way more interesting lives, do more things and can be more socially engaging, so why would anyone feel like i'm worth their time or that I am unique enough to wanna spend time with?
What is it that makes us unique, valuable, significant as a person, rather than just another human being living some average life? How can I feel like I am good enough, when there are so many other who are better?
