I have used 1Password 7 for several years on both macOS and iOS. I purchased it via the Apple App Store(s) as a yearly subscription. I want to upgrade to 1Password 8, but am confused on the procedure....

When I look at my iCloud account subscriptions, all I see is a single listing "1Password" - it doesn't mention what versions of 1Password are included, and what platforms.

Mac questions:

1Password 8 is not available for macOS in the App Store. Since I paid for a subscription to 1Password 7 via Apple (ends July 11 20204), how do I continue the Mac subscription if I need to get off the App Store version? Do I need to cancel the Apple version early and sign up for a new subscription directly through 1Password.com?
Looking at the 1Password app on macOS, I dont see a way to migrate from 7 to 8 other than downloading the app directly from 1Password (.zip file). I don't see any subscription info in the 1Password 8 app and I dont see any prompts to start a demo/trial. Is it using my Apple subscript when though its not available on the Mac App Store?

Will Apple ever allow 1Password 8 to be sold in the Mac App Store?

iOS questions:

I installed 1Password 8 on an iOS device via Apple App Store, but it didn't not remove version 7. Can they run side-by-side? Should I remove 7 if 8 is running as expected?

Does my exiting Apple subscription from Apple for iOS also apply to both version 7 and version 8?
