This may be the most simple question asked on here and I'm just being thick but how do you say what's your name? Or rather, what's the way a native speaker would say it?
In school, I was told it's comment tu t'appelles? however whilst doing duolingo they seem to prefer tu t'appelles comment?
Is this a "yeah both are correct but x sounds wooden and it would mark you as a tourist immediately" type situation?
So, I'm listening to some YouTube videos for introductions and the way to say: What is your name has been,
Comment t'appelles- tu? Or Comment vous appelez-vous?
But I learned in Highschool and College that it's:
Comment tu t'appelles? Or Comment vous appelez?
Which one is correct or is it interchangeable?
