A good rule of thumb for tablecloths is that you want about 6-8 inches of drape or overhang on all sides of the table. So, take your table measurements and add 12-16 to both length and width and that is your tablecloth size. For example, my table is 36 x 60. I would buy a tablecloth in the 48-52 x 72-76 range.
