The fonts identified often look quite close to your source image, but it overlooks commonly available font matches in favor of ones you’d have to buy from a developer.Case in point: I couldn’t remember which font I’d used for a particular project from several years ago, but knew it was on my system. The app gave me a dozen close matches I’d never heard of and didn’t have.

There are lots of online tools for this. I always check WhatFontIs first, since they seem to have the largest library of fonts in their database and I can usually get a match there. Identifont is also helpful in some cases. And if you can't figure it out, post it in r/identifythisfont to see if anyone can help identify it. You can view the websites source code or you can just inspect the text by right clicking on it, then view the css on the right hand side of the browser (in Google chrome) and see which font they used too. More on reddit.com

Is the bottom end of it pointed or squared off or rounded? Are the sides of the M vertical, or sloped outward like a letter A? Is it all uniform weight, or are some parts thinner/thicker?
