I have yet to fin dout the point of amber, can anybody guide me on what it is? I have used it a couple times in my smelter but it seems ineficient and time consuming to get materials, any help will be appreciated
After you donate amber to the captain’s collection, what do you do when you dig up the same kind? Right now it’s just cluttering up my storage. Doesn’t seem like I can sell it. What do you all do? Any uses I haven’t discovered?

I see amber as a reward for some things. What does it do? I've tried looking up the help and it says it's the main currency of the land, but I don't know how to spend it.
Similarly, some glade events allow you to send amber to the citadel. What is the benefit of this?
Thanks!
So I now have 2 big chunks & a tiny chunk of Amber I got from the beach yesterday and now Im wonderwing how to properly clean them with as little budget as possible because I am broke atm lol (And dont want my Ambers condition to get worse from the tropical climate im in. Have oimited storage in my room)
Any tips?
Can i use clay or higher amber to grow trees faster?
Nope, you're limited to dirt, dirt Amber, and grass by default if you're playing in prestige mode. There are several better soil types you can unlock through the prestige system.
If you’re playing with prestige turned OFF, you have access to various types of mulch that will speed up your tee growth and drop chance. If you have prestige turned ON, you have to unlock them
I’m trying to complete the community center within at least the first year and a half or so, so that I can progress quickly. I have the ways I’m going to get all of the items pretty well planned out but I have no idea how to get Amber reliably. Do I just need to get lucky tilling or with geodes? If that was the case, Amber seems like an awful addition to the CC. Am I missing something?
Hey guys, I had a quick question for the community. I have been working on creating an amber scent for a few months, and I want some advice.
I know "Amber" has many meanings in perfumery, so I'll clarify what my definition is in this situation. When I say amber I mean a sweet, subtle, honey-like smell that is a bit resinous, and not too sickly sweet, perhaps with woody facets. Materials that I feel capture this are Bornafix, Traseolide, Ambrien, Iso E Super, Labdanum, Hydrocarboresin, Z11 10 MIP, and perhaps Kephalis.
I have tried dozens of formulas, and none seem to capture the vision that I am going for, as I run into a few problems. Here are the most common ones:
• The formula comes out too sickly sweet, almost nauseatingly so, even when diluted with ETOH
• The formula comes out too muddy and indistinct (also correlates with low projection)
• When ETOH is added, the lack of top notes make it smell very much like alcohol, and when sprayed it feels too diluted, even at concentrations as high as 40% aroma ingredients to 60% ETOH
I have experimeted with adding top notes, and that has helped a bit, but it's still missing the distinctive ambery middle notes I am striving for. I'd ideally want this scent to stick solidly to a subtly sweet amber without being overbearingly sweet, but I find that hard to do without makng mud.
To combat this, I've tried adding uplifting ingredients such as cashmeran and kephalis, but these dont fix the muddiness, even at high concentrations (in which case they impart too much of a discordant "sharpness"). I've tried nuancing the notes by adding lactonic ingredients like delta decalactone and methyl laitone, sandalwoods, and nutty notes like trimethyl pyrazine and other pyrazines. This is a step in the right direction but still makes it smell muddy and indistinct, not like a true perfume. I am even thinking of perhaps adding bergamot and linalool to make it pop, but I fear that it wont fix these underlying problems. I've experimented with superambers like Ambrocenide and Ambermax, but these impart a discordant sharpness which is not desirable, even at small amounts. I've experimented with creamy sandalwoods, and those have helped, but also seem to impart a stinky musty smell.
So I guess what I wanted to ask is, does anyone have any advice? Are there any aroma families that would synergize well that I am being blind to? I would love to hear the communities experience with creating amber scents. I'd like to uplift this formula and create a sophisticated nuance. I'd appriciate any words of wisdom! Thank you.
would appreciate some help here. i’m getting used to the new weapons system and im trying to find more amber because my weapons are going to expire really soon. according to game rant, they got moved to grassland caves, but ive been exploring for an hour now and i haven’t found a single amber deposit. is this information correct? is my luck just that bad?
I'd really like to buy a real piece of amber and the sister sub of this hasn't had a post in like a year, is there any websites I can buy real amber off of?
I know pine sap has a couple uses I was wondering if this sap/amber whatever from this tree can be used for anything usefull as well.
I looked in multiple caves in grasslands and in desert biome and I’m losing hope and sanity of ever finding any 🤪. Any help or advice would be super cool.
Edit: wow, I FOUND SOME! :D Either 1: magically these shits showed up right when I caved and asked the internet for help. Or 2 : I’m a dummy who didn’t look up ONCE out of the like 10 caves I explored or I might of mistook rough amber for brightstone 😅😅😅
this took me two hours 💔
i have been searching for SO LONG to find rough amber, but there’s only obsidian. i went into a cave too! the only rough amber i’ve gotten is from chests i’ve encountered, but i haven’t found any like this. help 😭
I'm looking for Amber resin recipes for my personal use and learning. Ok, I had no idea that it would be so hard to find a recipe for dark amber resin or amber resin of any sort. Long story made short. I only have so many resins and oils and would like to make a small batch of dark amber resin for myself. I believe that after hours of research , I do have the ingredients to make it. What I dont have is any idea of how much of each item I use. I want to play around with making several types of incense and resin perfumes and don't want to waste all of my supplies on trial and error just trying to figure out one recipe. Can someone share a musky amber resin recipe with me? Please? I have no intention of selling, nor do I plan on sharing since it seems so hard to find. There must be a reason the recipes are hard to find. I need to know the amounts of ingredients to add and the heating method. I love Amber resin as a solid perfume and would love to be able to make my own in case someday I can not buy it and have it shipped to me. You can personally message me, and I will guard the recipe as if it were my own family recipe. I prefer the dark Indian amber, but at this point, any recipe will work as long as it has the process in it. I might be able to then replace or suppliment and ingredient to make the dark resin. Who knows, I might like the other better. Hopefully, someone has faith in me and will share a recipe with me.
For context, I'm compiling a list of matrials needed for all armor upgrades and you need well over 600 amber. I plan on posting the full list at some point
Besides dismantling relic weapons in order to obtain it. Can in it be found in the wild? I just need one more -_-
