Ordered on preorder day, 128gb silver. Estimated days by Apple were 3-10 October, however, it shipped today. Apple estimate 28th of September but UPS say 26th. So it appears the phones ship out sooner than the estimates.

Planning to get 17pm so just trying to prepare myself since it’s being released very soon.
Last phone I preordered was 12pm and I tried doing it on the app but the screen was stuck on your early or something.
I then ended up buying it online for pickup the next day.
But I’ve heard the app is the best way? Do I need to force quit the app and go back in it if it’s still stuck on that screen or do I just wait?
Sorry if this is a bit overkill I really need a new Phone so I’m just excited at this point so want everything prepared and sorted!

I purposely never, ever try to get release day products. They are the ones that are most likely to have defects. Wait a month until the manufacturer has figured out how to make them flaw-free.

I’m in the device upgrade program so I can actually pre-setup my pre-order. I’m not sure if that’s possible without being in the program. You can log into the app and see after the 17 is announced. If not, just log into the app when pre orders open and be patient. They get overwhelmed by the number of people pre ordering though that hasn’t really been the case in years it seems like.
