October 22, 2024 - That included an alternative Aero scheme with a different level transparency, the Classic Taskbar with Quick Launch (this itself was still existing along with the new Superbar until Build 6956 and later), different versions of Paint, Calculator and Wordpad that don’t look anything like Windows Vista or Windows 7 at the final release and so on. Microsoft really went all out in making sure Windows 7 came out polished and elegant.
