Go to the channel you're using the subscription on and hover over the green button saying "gift a sub", it will tell you when you will have the prime sub available again.

My Prime sub is never available. It keeps telling me that it'll be available on some date in the future, but every time the date passes, it's updated to a new date. Right now, it's telling me, "Prime Subscription will be available on March 14." But I'm sure it'll pick a new date once it actually gets there. I haven't been able to use my Prime sub in several months because of this.

I've already checked that I don't currently have an active sub. My subscriptions page just says, "Free Channel Sub with Prime: Directly support your favorite streamer, and you can subscribe again for free every month. To use your free subscription, go to a channel of your choice and select 'Subscribe Free.'"

My Amazon Prime account is a normal account that I pay full price for. I've had it for many years now.

If anyone has an idea of what's causing this, I'm all ears.

Check your extensions it might be getting used by one of them I see posts here all the time where this is the case

I had this, had to contact twitch/amazon and got the runaround for a few days but they eventually fixed it

It's because you've already got a tier 1 subscription to that channel. Looks like someone gifted it to you. You need to wait for it to run out, then you'll be able to sub with prime.

Just as it says in the title really - the option to use my Prime sub has vanished. I've logged out, in, clear cookies, cache, tried from three different devices (PC, tablet, and phone), un-linked and re-linked my Prime Gaming / Twitch accounts and it's just not there.

Any idea what's happening? Have they scrapped it?

I'm gonna dissapoint you real fast.

You can't sub multiple times with student prime.

You need regular (paid) amazon prime to get one free sub per month.

With student prime you can only get a sub once.

Note that you still get still all of the other benefits such as ad free viewing and twitch prime emotes, etc.

Are you using a free trial version of prime ? If so then you don’t get a free sub with that. You have to have a paid subscription to prime

I can’t do the prime sub on my iPhone but I can on my pc. I assume it has to do with Apple charging Amazon and the price difference between phone and pc for subs.

usually next to the gift sub and subscribe there’s a lil check box that says use prime sub and it’s not there i don’t have any active subscriptions either

Click the 'Elevate your Subscription' option, its nested in there.

Either you have a trial/student account (in which you can only use it once ever), your prime itself expired, or the active sub it was last used on only just expired, you might need to wait a little longer.

So I've been using twitch prime for a long time to sub to my favorite streamer, however, a few days ago it ran out and I have since then been trying to resub but the option to sub with prime is just not there anymore. I tried everything (no adblock, relinked my amazon+twitch account, other browsers etc).

Next to the sub button it even says 'Your free channel sub with Prime is available'.

Anyone else having this issue?

It's been saying the same thing for me for 2 months. I wanted to subscribe to a certain streamer for an in game item today and it said: 'Your free channel sub with Prime is available April 18th.' I went to see what channels am I subbed to and a completely random one popped up. Some scam is running around that steals your prime sub from your account and many others. I was monitoring their off stream chat and in 10 minutes atleast 5 accounts that aren't followed subbed to said person.
