I had spent months considering what I wanted to get, and I finally decided on that model. Waited a couple weeks and refreshed the page, and it says they're no longer selling it. Not out of stock, just not selling it. I have a hard enough time trying to choose a model as it is.

Edit: Originally wrote this for Dyson V15 but my wife pointed out it also applies to the Dyson Airwrap which is also hard to find.

I had a really hard time finding a Dyson V15 and wanted to share what eventually worked for me in case it can help someone else. I didn't expect it to be this hard to find a vacuum but with all the other product shortages I've run into lately (like computer hardware or the PS5), I guess I shouldn't be too surprised.

• My trick is to use stock alerting tools - There are a number of sites out there that notify you when things come in stock. In the past I've used NowInStock but in this case they weren't tracking many retailers or keeping it very up to date. The site I used was TrackaLacker and I was able to find a Dyson V15 within a day (I may have gotten lucky with the timing). Fortunately the V15 doesn't sell out quite as fast as a PS5 for example, so you have a little more time to pull the trigger, but I wouldn't wait too long as these things tend to sell out within a couple hours and they don't restock often. They also have the Dyson Airwrap tracked if you're looking for that

• Edit: Canada trackers - Trackalacker has Canada trackers for both the Dyson v15 and Airwrap. I didn't see any other countries so if anyone knows any similar services for other countries please share.

• Brick & Mortar - this is worth mentioning but didn't work for me. I have heard people getting lucky at Bed Bath & Beyond & Best Buy but I checked and called both stores three separate times during the course of two weeks and had no luck. If you're going to go this route definitely call in advance to avoid wasting time.
