Is the Pendleton at Costco the real Pendleton?
Several years ago Pendleton moved clothing production overseas and into Central America. Most of the coordinating blouses and non-wool accessories are made in China or in other Asian countries. The wool, that is still produced in Oregon, is for the most part, sent to Central America for construction. It seems only their highest end wool blankets are still made in USA

Pendleton Wool Blankets
Factsheet
I was looking at a Pendleton set online at Costco (Item 1530452 for reference). But my thing is, in the description it says that it is made in China. Pendleton is made in the US in Oregon. Does anyone know if it is real Pendleton? Is the made in China a typo? Somethings got to be off.

I don’t think they make that claim anymore.
Yes they still have a mill in Oregon. But I’d wager only the most expensive stuff low volume they sell is produced there.

Even on their website they make note of specific products that are made in the USA like their blankets. But everything else they sell is flagged as “imported”

Or “imported of USA fabric” meaning they exported wool from the USA, manufactured it somewhere, then re-imported the final product
