Last minute request from my boss to pick up eight $1,000 e-gift cards tomorrow. It’s been a while since I purchased e-gift cards though.
My memory is that there was something about getting Visa Vanilla or American Express e-gift cards that was a royal pain. I know the Visa Vanilla ones didn’t allow a decent length note to the recipient. In the end, I went out and bought physical cards to avoid the whole process. That’s not an option this time due to short notice.
What is your preferred vendor for a large e-gift card that can basically function as cash for the recipient?
