First, I'm new to r/Guitars but I think this is an appropriate question for this platform. I have no doubt that I will be told in no uncertain terms if I am wrong. :-) I have an old 70's Gibson Explorer (white and in excellent condition), and a mint condition Takamine acoustic electric, and the plan is to sell them and get a new Martin.
