I ordered a sauteuse from lecreuset.com on Saturday afternoon, when they re-stocked it in Caribbean. It is my BFF's color, and I'm excited for her to get it, and was hoping she'd get it in time for Christmas. I paid $11.99 for 2-day shipping. I didn't expect that it would ship over the weekend, but am sorely hoping it ships today.
Is anyone more familiar with their shipping than I am (I have only ordered one item from the website, and was in no particular hurry, so don't remember how long it to them to actually ship the item out)? Are the odds good that the item will be shipped in time to arrive by Friday?

If you paid for two day shipping, it should. I ordered something last year on 12/21 and did next day shipping to have it prior to Christmas for cooking. I had it on the 22nd. They typically ship within a couple hours for me if not the same day. Even in the Black Friday sale, I ordered a pan on the 26th around 8:30 AM and had a shipping email the same day (9:52 PM). It was delivered Monday the 29th via regular ground.

Most of my orders show up before the shipping info actually updates. This has happened with both free and two day shipping.

Peggy Z. · July 27, 2013 ... I’m not an expert on this and I don’t know for sure but a few years ago I was in the lecruset outlet store and all the products were made in China. My older pots have an embossed made in France on bottom of pan. So if it says that it’s still made in France.

Le Creuset is more expensive in Paris than it is here at the outlet stores in California, hence my reluctance to buy and ship such a heavy object. You can order internationally from most U.S. Le Creuset outlet stores, that's why I'm asking. If you can't see the merchandise in person in Australia, I can understand wanting to see it, but buying it in Paris is another thing (and I'm a person who *does* buy certain things in Paris because they end up being cheaper, even with VAT).

I ordered a few items and checked out as a guest to save time. Big mistake on my part because a couple days later and I've still received no purchase confirmation or tracking. I reached out to customer service on their website and no word back yet either. I checked my bank and the charge has been pending as well. Of all the hundreds of websites I've ever ordered from, this is by far the most bizarre experience.

I ordered something before Christmas, on the faq section they said it would ship in 4-5 business days but it took 2 weeks, once it shipped I got a tracking number in my email. The box also shipped in a box with LeCreuset written on it so if anyone saw it they would know it was expensive. When I called their office they were able to check on the order if that helps.

Same thing happened to me - it took over a month to get. Showed as pending for ages, then because the credit card address didn't match shipping address (guess Christmas gifts aren't a thing there?) they cancelled the order altogether without letting me know. Total disaster but I finally got it, and love my dutch oven!
