I've clicked around and couldn't find a way to see the code without clicking the link and redeeming the card.
Anyone that does gift card exchanges might have a harder time now, however it seems that it's still possible by sharing the link from the "apply to your amazon account" button.

Did you purchase this card from Amazon, or what site did it come from? I just bought an Amazon gift card from Amazon.com a couple minutes ago, and it gave me a claim code like normal. Curious why there's a difference.

You don't need one. Gift card balance is already added in your account and you can start using it. If you are looking for claim code to redeem it somewhere else then it is not possible as it is already redeemed to your account.
