ive been using boxes from walmart but it always feels like theyre just a little too small / big or they'll be tall enough but not wide enough or the other way around and its just driving me fking crazy
also if i have another roll of tape split down the middle when i cut the piece off im gonna lose my shit
please help me
For some things I want to ship, the USPS stores either don't have boxes big enough or have boxes too big and not the perfect size. Same thing for UPS. Tried Home Depot and same issue. Is there a place I can go to get boxes that are a very specific size for the items I want to ship?
Thanks.
Mostly gonna be selling sneakers and clothes.
I've expanded recently and I sell mostly small items so I was wondering where I should start to look to buy boxes. I only sell on the side so I don't need too many.
Ive NEVER once bought a box. When Im not shipping Priority I place a bright neon colored sticker on the box that I print myself that says "This purchase shipped in an 'experienced' box saving you money and the Earth landfill space". Never had anybody question it in 3 years of heavy shipping. I ask retailers for boxes and get them from dumpsters
Dollar stores or Walmart for stock time. They are free. Don't buy them.
I’m selling something that’s 19x11x3 and I’m trying to find a box to ship it in but the only boxes I can find that are close to that size are in bulk for like $30-60 and not only is that expensive but I also only need one box. Where do you guys buy shipping boxes for not common sizes
This picture is half of a bunch of new boxes I bought yesterday from a guy who was cleaning out a store that has closed. These are 42" tubes but I can cut them down to smaller sizes. I sell on eBay and Etsy and with a few exceptions, all of my boxes are new. I love the idea of free boxes but in my opinion it is so much less hassle to work with predictable sizes and shapes. As much as possible, I look at marketplace and Craigslist for listings where a warehouse is moving or a store is closing and buy that way (if I'm lucky, I get them for free). Do you buy new? Or get used from stores, recycle bins, friend/family?
I'd like to buy some wholesale and need some advice, please. I need wide, flat boxes too... somewhere in the 18inch x 10inch x 4inch category. I have a lot of toys to ship (long, wide but flat toys)
Can someone recommend where everyone source their shipping boxes? I'm usually reusing my boxes from other deliveries, but sometimes it's not the most easy way
Edit: thanks for all the great feedback. It’s looking like zoro.com is the best bang for the buck for my needs. Free shipping over $75 and 10% off coupon. Check it out!
This is like years overdue...but I need to get boxes that isn't from Uline. Getting the free products is nice and all, but I am sure Uline isn't the cheapest out there. Where does everyone get boxes that are 18x18x18 inches or around that size?
New seller that just made his first sale!!
Now I’m curious how you all keep shipping material cost effective and where you get it from!
I've been in this hobby since March and made allot of money but one thing that alludes me. Affordable shipping boxes in many sizes. I usually use Walmart boxes but it gets spend and the free USPS only works if you ship priority. So where does everyone get theirs?
I’m running out of boxes I have at home, and I don’t know where to get boxes, as they are pricey at my local post office. I was trying to find information online, but it was all very vague.
I mostly use polymailers but sometimes if I have multiple items in an order, I need to use a box so I'd like to order a few to have on hand. Where do yall buy yours from? Thanks!
Would love to hear how people source their own shipping boxes.
Personally, I have around 3,000 orders I need to ship next month, and am looking for the most cost effective way to source just normal corrugated brown shipping boxes, around 12"x12"x12" size.
Thank you in advance!
I have a business selling alpaca yarn, hats, scarves, mittens, socks, and a few other things along those lines. Where can I acquire shipping boxes? USPS priority boxes are to expensive. What are my options. I am brand new to this and don't know where to look.
Hey folks! Does anyone have experience with buying bulk mailing/shipping boxes from a local (or within Canada) wholesaler? I’m looking for a large amount of small corrugated, all-black boxes and Amazon is pricy. Any suggestions/ insight is helpful! Thanks :)
i’ve been getting ready to open my shop, and i am a total shipping n00b. i’ve been looking into all my shipping options and frankly i am overwhelmed. 😅 where are you guys getting the cheapest small boxes and packing supplies? i make candles and wax melts, so i don’t need anything super heavy duty.
