You can try Silk and Snow Mattresses at EQ3 stores. Douglas unfortunately doesn't have Mattresses on display anywhere. You can also try Endy mattresses at Urban Barn stores. I have the original Silk and Snow and Douglas memory foam mattresses and the top layers feel really similar as each has a nice gel foam but the Silk and Snow has a softer middle foam layer and the Douglas has a firmer middle foam layer so the Silk and Snow feels softer and you sink in more and the Douglas feels firmer and you don't sink in as much. The Douglas feels more comfortable for back and stomach sleeping in my opinion but a bit firmer for side sleeping. The Silk and Snow feels more comfortable for side sleeping to me but I'm 150 lbs and felt like I sank into it maybe a bit too much so I think the Silk and Snow original would be better for lighter weight people and the Douglas better if you are over 150 lbs in my opinion. The Silk and Snow hybrid mattress though is a bit firmer and more supportive and I think that one is better as well if you are over 150 lbs. I almost bought the Silk and Snow hybrid but the I got the Douglas instead. For me the Douglas is a bit firm and I think would be more comfortable with a 2 inch topper. Do you live near an EQ3 store? You can call them and see which Silk and Snow mattresses they have to try and then you can order one if you like it. At the store near me they had the hybrid and natural ones on display to try. I also tried the Endy in store but I like more of a slow moving memory foam feel and Endy is more of a faster response foam feel and doesn't feel as much like memory foam.
