Does Sunday lawn care help with weeds?
Two of Sunday’s products are designed to kill weeds. Weed Warrior is an herbicidal, non-selective herbicide that kills weeds, including dandelions, chickweed, moss, and more. However, because it is non-selective, it will also kill any grass it touches. Dandelion Doom is formulated to target broadleaf weeds for a more specialized approach.

Sunday Lawn Care Review (2026)
How often can you apply Sunday to your lawn?
You can apply Sunday nutrient pouches two to four times per year, depending on your location, type of grass, and the guidance provided in your Smart Lawn plan. Your Sunday products should only be used during your region’s growing season.

Do you need to water Sunday lawn products after applying?
It is best to water the day before applying Sunday lawn care. Recently hydrated grass has better nutrient absorption, but rain or watering the day after can wash away precious nutrients. Check that the forecast doesn’t include rain, and water your grass the day before application for best results.

Costco has special on Sunday brand. Is it worth the $60?
No, Sunday is a waste of money. You can get the exact same product for a fraction of the cost compared to Sunday’s price. More on reddit.com
Does anyone here use Sunday?
It won't ruin your lawn, but it's closer to gimmick than actual helpful for your lawn specifically. It's just another version of a DIY type system for homeowners. If you don't want to do a lot of work, it's probably ok. But you also may not get the high end results many people here aim for. More on reddit.com
Sunday lawn service reviews?
I used it last year and wasn’t happy. They “forgot” to send two of my shipments so I had to keep bugging them to send it. Never got my soil test results back. Then the last shipment the cheap plastic sprayer wouldn’t spray anymore and it took them so long to send me a new one it got too cold to put the product on. Can’t recommend it just for the logistical problems. Never got all the product applied so it may or may not work. The dandelion doom product is worthless. More on reddit.com

If you really want to go the Sunday route, the dandelion doom is just iron and water in a bottle. Because of this it’s going to take a lot to do damage, with that being said I would go the spray bottle route and just spray each dandelion individually. Don’t be suprised if they come back after getting burnt. If you’re wanting to try their fertilizer there’s a lot cheaper ways to do it. For example the “Texas Green” is a 22-0-2 and covers 5,000 sq ft. That treatment will give you 0.15 pounds of nitrogen per 1,000 sq ft. and cost you about $5.40 per 1,000 sq feet while it’s on sale. Or, you go to the local farm store and buy a 50 lb bag of urea 46-0-0 and apply 0.35 lbs per 1,000 Square feet to get the same amount of nitrogen and it will cost you about $0.13 per 1,000 square feet. That’s the power of marketing, nothing special, just a name and a commercial for the same thing and a lot more money. More on reddit.com

I’ve been thinking of trying them out. Price seems reasonable, but don’t want to fall for a gimmick product and ruin my lawn.

Second year with Sunday. You wouldn’t believe it but last year it was very patchy, brown, and where the weeping tree is on the left, no grass just dirt and some weeds. So last year I got my kit with the soil test and sent that in, they adjusted my second shipment based on the results of the test. I did over-seed with their supplied seed. These are the products I’ve used this year. Lawn-Boy model: 10424 ♻️Mulching (2 bagging sessions for cottonwood fuz) 💭 Sunday products used -Sunday : Fescue Resuce grass seed 🌱(over seeding for the front lawn, patching for back, seeding for the front tree area.) -Sunday : Lawn Kickstart fertilizer ✅ -Sunday : Grass Machine 🌱 -Water schedule 💦 —morning 8ish am 🌝 —evening 7ish pm 🌜 Dethatched manually end of March

Sunday vs Lawnbright? | Lawn Care Forum
Those type of companies are more expensive, for big box store type of applications. Not sure how it translates to less chemicals on the lawn, versus your current spray and pay set up. What is the current company applying and when/how often ? ... I could 100% be falling for the marketing on chemicals and lawn care.
