Someone said usb c do no have pressure sensitivity but then why is even recommended in the 1st place and idk if 1st or 2nd gen are usable on this ipad. Pls help

For the A16, you can use Apple Pencil (1st Generation) and Apple Pencil (USB-C), if you want pressure sensitivity, you’ll need the first gen. Check if it comes with the USB-C Apple Pencil adapter, otherwise you’ll need that too.

Just got my IPad 11, looks great. Now time to put it to its intended use by buying a pencil. Only thing is, is there one?
As far as I can tell, the Pencil Pro is incompatible with it but the USB-C seems to be missing a bunch of features. Now granted I’m not sure how important those features are but seems strange there isn’t an option to access them. The only other option is the 1st gen pencil which is a decade old, and a third party pencil.
Is it just me or does this seem… not very well thought out??

By iPad 11 I assume you mean the iPad A16. It’s compatible with the USB-C and 1st gen Pencil. If you want more features, 1st gen is the way to go. https://www.apple.com/apple-pencil/

The iPad 11 is the cheapest iPad and so it has some compromises. One of those compromises is cheaper Apple Pencil support.
