I'm pretty happy overall with the production version. I think for those who like the design or the knife in hand it's a good choice for daily tasks. A solid edc, especially slicer/cutting most everyday needs. Link below
For anyone interested they are shipping this week from Kubey. Here is an updated photo or two on both version. One with all satin and the other satin flats with a stonewashed blade. Dark washed scales and the other blasted. Elmax steel around 62 HRC from manufacturer. Thanks

I was looking around for a flipper style (vs EDC) balisong near me and saw WMK had opened a store front. A ten minute drive later a was looking at a BRS Barebones (held off as I think I want a Krake Raken), some OTFs, and some others. Eventually I decide on what turned out to be the last red micarta WMK exclusive Kizer Militaw they had. Not a bad start for my first knife from the physical location. Only 59.99 and incredibly lightweight. Smooth action with a weaker detent . Solid lockup and was able to get the blade centered pretty easily .
