There are legit suppliers on Wholesale Central, but there are also a lot of scam sites. If you can learn to tell the difference then Wholesale Central can be a good way to find suppliers. If the supplier only exists on Telegram or is really pushing for communication over Telegram or Whatsapp that's a big red flag. These are almost never completely honest businesses. If the supplier's website is set up to get your attention and it looks like they really want to work with you, that's kind of a red flag. Good suppliers will usually want to vet you before they will work with you. They'll commonly require that you make an account with them on their website before they will really talk to you at all. Not always, sometimes you can just email them, but if they're good they're probably not going out of their way to advertise to you. I have seen a few exceptions to this, but it's a good rule of thumb. You can do a google search for "Is (supplier's name) legit?" and you'll usually find a Trustpilot page or a Reddit review of that supplier. If they list an address on their site then you can put the address into google maps and check street view to see if the address looks like it belongs to a wholesale distributor. Basically you're looking for a warehouse or a sign with their name on it or something. Sometimes scam sites will just choose a random location in a city and say they're from there.
