I see them a lot on the r/BuyItForLife seems to be the cast iron skillet of wool products. They seem to last decades. One guy had a 50 year old shirt from them.

I'm going to be living in a box truck converted into an rv this winter, I already am living in it but I'll be living in it this winter too.
I keep reading how great wool blankets are for winter, and how great pendleton of all wool blankets are. I'm looking into pendleton blankets and there's a lot of different types. I'm seeing beaver state, national park, costco etc. I don't know what to look out for.
surely a pendleton labeled as throw blanket will be thinner then that I'm looking for right? it should get as low as 30f this winter. I have a blanket but it's not 100% wool, I don't think it's wool at all so I'll need a 100% wool to throw on top of it to trap my body heat in right?

Dunno your situation, but if I were living out of my car, I probably wouldn't be buying expensive blankets. Go for military surplus wool blankets. They'll last just as long and are just as warm.

I just want to throw this out there, if you have the money to spend and it gets cold cold, like you get worried at how cold it is kinda cold, get a small tent to pitch in your box truck. It’s much easier to keep the tent warm with your body heat versus the entire box truck. People can do the same in a room of their house is they’re in a bad winter blackout. Just an fyi

Both the Pendleton’s and the LL Bean are less expensive than the Hudson Bay’s I’ve seen, but it’s hard to say how they compare in quality. A good alternative for a little bit more money would be a Hudson’s Bay Point blanket, and for a little bit less money is the Faribault Woolen Mills blankets (I have one of these blankets, and they’re also machine washable.) Faribault makes the wool blankets issued to the military going back to WWI, so they’re warm and durable. The Pendleton’s or HBP blankets will be a little thicker and slightly warmer.
