So I decided to try Disneyplus. However I cannot watch on mobile is this deliberate? I don't understand why you have a service but won't let people use it. I'm in the Caribbean and I feel like an afterthought. We also have no Star content.

Google TV on Chromecast, connected to my tv.
Disney+ subscription.
Was working fine yesterday.
Today, trying to log into my profile in Disney+, it says "Service unavailable. Disney+ is unavailable in your region".
I'm in the US, and haven't moved since yesterday. 🙂
Network IP address is registered by the ISP with ARIN (American registry).
Disney+ works fine on my cell phone, connected to the same network.
Two different Chromecast dongles in two different TVs have the same issue.

Any ideas?

Edit: Follow up - this resolved itself. Likely a temporary glitch that someone fixed.

check if there's an vpn installed, that changed your ip. in my country, that issue used to happen very often with another isp that I had. the thing is, there's no more ip v4 available, due that, the providers are rescuing ip numbers all around the world and certain services have ip location in their services. they take that as an rule, but isn't. with my other isp, my ip was from another country, several times, at random and not by my choice. due that, almost all services that was registered to be viewed from my country only, was saying that their wasn't available in my own country. solution? vpn, to make my ip appear to be from my real county, not by the country that the service was detecting. if you wanna an fun fact, an couple in a farm, in the middle of US, often was "visited" by all sorts of agencies, like FBI, IRS, bla bla. why? because an idiot linked their address to an ip. just imagine how pissed they have become over the years, due that.

I know this was a year ago but thought I'd post in case it helps someone. Had the same issue - would work on my phone but not on chromecast with that same error message. I realised I had the movie downloaded to my phone to watch offline, deleted that and it worked immediately.
