March 1, 2020 - I made a post about it a few days ago ... Not really feeling much love from Spotify support... Seems this skipping problem is only when bluetooth is involved...phone to car, laptop to speaker and phone to speaker.

October 4, 2025 - It only happens when using AirPlay to cast from iPhone or iPad to a device such as a Denon home stereo receiver or a Roku Streambar. I have tried clearing the cache, logging out and back in, and re-installing the app, but none of these helps. All devices are using the latest software updates. Tracks play normally when using Bluetooth devices. I can go back to the track manually and play the rest of the song that was skipped. If one of the moderators from Spotify is out there, or anyone with knowledge of what I'm describing, can you help?

January 25, 2025 - The only solution I’ve came up with is clicking play and then swiping out of the app. I can still skip songs from the iPhone drop down menu, but if I want to select a new playlist I have to open the app, select the playlist, close the app because the glitching begins, then re-open the app, click play, and swipe out the app.
