They worked fine until yesterday, then all of a sudden they wouldn't connect with the phone anymore. They still connect fine with my MacBook and iPad.

I tried unpairing them, resetting them, restarting phone/bluetooth/wifi, everything. Now they don't even show up on the phone when scanning for devices. I see a device that's just showing up as an address (1C:1A:C0:6A:8A:7C), not sure if that's the airpods, can't connect to that no matter what I do with the airpods case button. It's not showing anything called airpods when scanning.

None of the guides I checked mentioned what to do when the airpods don't even show up in available devices.

Any idea how to fix this and get them working with the Android phone once again?

Never mind, I figured it out. Turns out I wasn't resetting them properly. According to Apple's support page, in order to do so, you must close the case for 30 seconds, open it and keep the button pressed until it flashes amber and white again. I could swear it never did turn back to white when I tried resetting them previously, not sure why and not sure why it did this time. Anyway, when I finally got it to do that, my android phone was able to detect the airpods once again. Leaving this here in case it helps someone else.

Same thing I am experiencing. My airpods are brand new. It has never been used before. Unboxed and fully charged. It initially detected the airpods but couldn't pair. It is no longer detecting the airpods.

Go to settings, blue tooth and remove the device from your blue tooth settings. Then turn off your phone. With the airpods, both AirPods are required to be inside the AirPods case. Then plug in the airpods case into a power source. Open the case and hold the back button. Keep holding it. After a while, the light should go from blinking white to a solid orange. Keep holding. The case should start after a while into pairing mode. Keep holding. When then case goes back to the solid orange, let go of the button. After the orange light, the case should go into pairing mode. DO NOT TRY TO PAIR YET. Close the airports case and set a timer for 5 minutes. When done, turn on your phone. Go to blue tooth settings. Then open the airpods case. If the pop up to show to pair, do not pair it through there. Tap out of the white box, then at the bottom of the blue tooth settings, it should show “airpods pro” tap on that and it should pair and be fine. If not, privately message me please.

I was using yesterday, but for some reason today they are not working. They won’t connect to my phone and even trying to press the back button for 15 seconds. All that happens is my case will flash white once then go dark and then, after a few seconds, it would be three times at me, go orange, and then make the ding sound as if it connected, but nothing would change. Would anyone understand how to get this stuff to work? Their AirPod Pro generation 2, I’ve tried looking it up and they just keep talking about pressing the reset button but that doesn’t work. Is there any applications or things I could do on the computer to make them reset completely? At this point I don’t care. I just want them to work again also, I don’t have the receipt because I’ve had them for a while now and it was probably thrown away.
