I've had this device for a while now but and never had this problem occur until today when I decide I want to play Roblox after a hot minute of keeping this iMac idle and not in use.
First thing I did was update my iMac to the version listed in the title; however, when I attempt to open up Roblox it simply says "Unable to download: Roblox was not able to update".
I've tried the following:
- Updating the iMac to its most recent version (10.15.7)
- Uninstalling Roblox Player (I cannot reinstall it, the iMac gives me the same warning, "Unable to download: Roblox was not able to update)
- Shutting the device down and powering it back up.
- Researching other potential fixes but none of them were able to aid me.
Device Specs:
- NVIDIA GeForce 680MX 2 GB (GPU)
- 32 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 (RAM)
- 3.4 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7 (CPU)
I've played on this device before and it ran games flawlessly and after prolonged inactivity (device not being used) this is the first time I've ever encountered this issue.
