My experience from 2 call centers is the training covers about 1/2 of what you need to know or will be doing. The other 1/2 comes from OJT or your peers, maybe some coaching w/ your supervisor. More on reddit.com

I'm sorry it didn't work out for you! I lasted one day after training. I actually commented on the wfh post that suggested working for Williams Sonoma, to NOT work there! They do not help during nesting period and honestly it wouldn't matter if they did because EVERY call is from an angry customer. Mainly bc people order furniture from them and it Literally has a 9 month to 1 yr wait and people call continually to ask for updates. OR to ask when their item will be delivered when it's coming on a freight from another country and isn't expected for 6 months. That's honestly what I dealt with and I was over it really quick. Constant getting screamed at and not being able to hang up and have to wait for them to hang up can send even the most patient person off the edge. Also you have to be the representative for each of their side companies as well. Edited to add they also had a weird obsession with the leather chair I used at my desk. I would caution against working for them. They over hired for the holidays and then fired them all via Zoom call the week before Christmas. They did this more than once. Expect a lot of mental abuse. More on reddit.com

I did but resigned. Pay is every other Friday. They expect you to do modules on your own without training. As far as being on the phones, you will be thrown to the wolves in week 4. I made a post about my experience. Maybe you will have a better experience than me. More on reddit.com
