Installing Java from this link ensures you get 64bit version
Interesting. When I click on that same link, it takes me to the 64-bit version. However, I modified ROTP a few versions back to warn you at startup if you are using a 32-bit Java. Did that not display for you? And with v0.93, a Java installation will no longer be required for Windows users. More on reddit.com

Please Help - I'm On The Latest version of Java Windows 10 64 Bit - I Keep Getting This Prompt
Had the same problem. Couldn't find any solutions online. Did a complete uninstall of Java then proceeded to install Java SE Runtime and Java SE Development Kit off of Oracle. Unfortunately you have to make an account but you can fill in the info with whatever you want as long as the email is solid. Reinstalled worldpainter. Done. Idk why this worked but it's the only thing that I was successful with. More on reddit.com

I am trying to download java 64 bit but whenever I download it still says 32 bit is installed and there is only one version of Java downloaded. how do I fix this?
You can Download and install the 64 bit and 32 bit versions from here (it's the ones called "offline"): https://java.com/en/download/manual.jsp . Also, check start > run > appwiz.cpl to see the list of installed programs, you should see two Java's there, but I think only one will show up in control panel to be configured, I'd have to check. How do I install Java ?
Offline installation requires you to download an executable file available at the manual Java download page, which includes all the files needed for the complete installation at the user's discretion.
