First custom PC; first time creating a WINDOWS ISO; Need WINDOWS 11 PRO* but can't find where to download/create WIN11 PRO ISO?
Official "DOWNLOAD/CREATE WINDOWS INSTALLATION MEDIA" Microsoft page lists only "WIN 11" for ISO boot media not specifically WIN 11 PRO. Presumably, then, stock WIN 11 ISO media is fine to use as long as I enter a valid Win11 PRO key? Then... it installs as WIN 11 PRO? Correct? Or must it be a specific WIN11 PRO ISO paired with WIN11 PRO KEY?
P.S. prefer to download from official MICROSOFT source, not a third party. My current machine is WIN 10 PRO (and will stay WIN 10 PRO, wont be upgraded to 11) so I'm unsure if creating an WIN 11 PRO media is possible.
The official Windows 11 ISO weighs around 6GB. Is there a Windows 11 ISO that just have Pro edition?

Hi. I need to install Windows 11 on some work computers.
It is impossible to use company email while installing. I read that you have to use Windows 11 Pro edition with work emails, but I did not find any option to install it.
The multiedition iso gives me no choice to Pro. How to do this without too much tweaking ?
What is the difference between Pro and Home anyway ?
Any ideas ? Thanks.
I tried downloading windows 11 but keeps giving me the pro version I already bought the activation key for home and donโt want to spend more money on the pro version. I downloaded it by using the installation assistant on the site but keeps giving me the pro version. I donโt really want to refund it because the pro version cost 200 plus tax and I bought mine for 150 tax included
Hello,
I always prefer a fresh install of Windows as opposed to running the upgrade assistant etc.
Can anyone please share a location where I can download of Windows 11 Pro OEM. Everything I am finding is hacked in some way to bypass TPM etc. This is something I really do not need.
Just a pure OEM that has not been fiddled with.
Thanks and cheers
Hello everyone, is there any way I could download official Windows 11 Iso without going to the official Microsoft website? The download speed is too slow. I have around 300Mbps of internet but my download speed doesn't even reach 2Mbps.
hi just wondering if there's an alternate download link for the windows 11 iso because it just keeps giving error code trying to download it, and i cannot use the media creation tool as i am using a linux pc currently. thanks
I need the latest April 2023 ISO. The one on Microsoft's website is old. What is the most legit place to download it from? Thanks.
WINDOWS 11 DEV BUILD ISO
I tried multiple times to download the ISO directly from their website and it auto-finishes partway before downloading all of it. The ISO size is 6.2gb. End up with 4.7gb or so.
I am however able to get the ISO via the media creation tool. But it's only 5.22gb in size and is just called windows.iso, when the direct download has the full name of Win11_23H2_English_x64.iso
I get an error when trying to mount the incomplete download to Rufus, but the iso from the media tool comes up clean.
Not sure if the media creation tool iso is fine, or I need another means to download the iso.
First question: Where can I find Windows 11 Pro? (NOT Windows 11 Pro N)
Second question: Do I need to make a bootable USB for this or is there another way to go about it?
Last question: IF I do need to make a bootable USB, do I need to disconnect all my drives? (except for the one I want the OS on of course)
Details:
Currently my pc has the following drives:
C: Kingston A400 SSD 480GB (OS and Programs)
D: Seagate Barracuda HDD 2TB (Documents, Pictures etc.)
E: Crucial P3 2TB M.2 (Empty)
I had my previous C drive die on me so I put in the old Kingston drive to serve as a temporary replacement. That way I could clear out my E drive and make that my new C.
Now that I got all the stuff I still need off the E drive, my next step would be to format it and get Windows on there. I already got a Windows 11 Pro product key, but I can't find anywhere where to get a download. (Only for Windows 11 Pro N, but apparently those product keys are not the same ones)
(I feel so stupid about asking this but I'd rather make sure I'm not being an idiot then be stuck without a PC again)
i want to go back to win 11 from linux because of compatibility reasons. when i go in microsoft win 11 download site (iso file) it gives me errors, it did same for my dad since he had latest win 11 version, can somebody reccomend me any sites that have win11 iso files download? (i also hear if you flash it with rufus you can remove bloatware and other stuff like that)
I wonder if it is possible to download the most current version of Windows 11, specifically the ISO file that includes the latest updates, directly from Microsoftโs official servers.
On the Microsoft website (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows11), I could only get the latest RTM version that was released back in November, however since then there were a ton of updates that I want to somehow skip and go straight to the latest Cumulative Update on the first launch/startup.
Is it somehow possible or no matter what I have to sit through the initial update procedure?
Thank you!
So I'm using the Windows Media Creation Tool and it always just creates a Windows 11 Home image which I then have to upgrade as soon as it's installed.
Ho do I make a Windows 11 Pro installation USB?
And no don't tell me to untick the box that says choose what's best for my PC as that has no effect whatsoever.
