The solution that worked for me consists of enabling the display in Intel Graphics Command Center.
In the display settings in the Intel Graphics Command Center app, click the three dots of the concerned display and click enable if it's not enabled.

I have the same problem, with the added complication that the "Intel Graphics Command Center" automatically opens on one of the displays which is not visible. That makes it hard to make any adjustments.
After some fiddling with cords, I got it to appear on the laptop monitor, but all displays are listed as 'enabled', but are receiving no input.
Another laptop connected to the same docking station is able to use all displays, is it just this one machine that is not sending information to the external monitors.
I had the similar problem, but my laptop do not have the second video adapter. In my case when I connected a third monitor over hdmi then my second monitor, that was connected over usb type-c, stopped working as monitor and continued working as touch input only.
Solution that worked for me:
Open Intel Graphics Command Center application, right click on grayed display and enable it.

I followed this guide and did a restart after advising to always take the nvidia card. And then it just worked again. Although it still shows that the Intel Iris Xe Graphics card is driving the 2 displays.

I got a forced update from Windows 10 to Windows 11 few days back. After the update, my 2nd monitor stopped working. It's not getting detected at all. I tried some tips I found online like Windows + P, Nvidia Display Settings, updating drivers, but none of them have worked.
My 1st monitor is connected via HDMI, working perfectly fine. My 2nd monitor has a DVI port - I'm using a DVI to DisplayPort connector to connect it to my GPU. All this time it ran perfectly fine. The windows 11 update totally screwed it up overnight.
My specs are: i5-13600K, RTX 4070, 16 GB RAM, MSI motherboard.
EDIT: SOLVED! Intel drivers for the integrated gpu fixed it.

I've been trying to connect my laptop (ASUS TUF Gaming FX505DT-BQ613T) to either my second monitor or my tv screen through HDMI. This has worked perfectly fine in the past, but after I updated it to windows 11, it stopped working. I've tested both the cables and the screens with other devices, and they work, so I don't think they're the problem.
When I plug in the laptop, there does appear to be something happening - at the very least, the monitor lighting up a bit, but then saying 'no signal' anyway. Similarly, when I unplug the cable, the laptop screen turns black for a second. It seems like there's not really any signal being sent through the cable. If I go to the multiple displays settings and click 'detect', it says 'we didn't find another display'.
I've tried a restart, and I've tried updating the display adapter drivers, but windows said that they were already up to date. I've also tried changing the display frequency to either 60 or 40 Hz, but no difference.
I'm not sure what to do next - I'd prefer not to mess with reinstalling the entirety of windows 11. Does anyone have an idea? Please let me know if you need any more info from me. Thanks!

Uninstall your display driver
In the search box on the taskbar, type device manager, and then select it from the list of results.
Select the arrow to expand Display adapters.
Under Display adapters, right-click the adapter, then select Properties.
Select the Delete the driver software for this device check box, and then select OK.
Restart your device and Windows will attempt to reinstall the driver.

Hi, I tried hard reset - hold power button on your PC till turn off. This simple solution worked.
I have tried a different cable and it does not work. When I plug in my other computer it does work.
