Same thing happened to me. Was playing FFXIV both monitors froze then went black. I rebooted and only main monitor was working and RX 9070 XT showed disabled. Tried to enable it and got error 31 and it wouldn't enable. Tried to run AMD adrenalin and it went into an endless loop of saying incompatible and reinstalling over and over. I recently notice my gpu having problems so i checked the device manager and i see the driver disabled because it had a error when the pc starts up, cant start amd software, and when i enable it, it says This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31), i reinstalled the drivers and factory reset them, but, i keep having to reinstall the drivers, any help?

I keep on getting this, every time Windows 11 updates. The Drivers unload and defaults back the Microsoft Display Driver. Sure Uninstalling and re-installing the drivers work. But I shouldn't have to go through this every month. Please sort your shit out AMD.

Leaving this for my steps if anyone runs into this. Crashed while playing a game, both monitors went black and after a while one was connected and I was able to restart from there. On reboot, right monitor is not picking up my gpu (5700) but the left monitor is fine. Swapping cables does nothing. Initially I tried running the AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition app i had on my pc to reinstall drivers and all that, access denied pops up and says something is incompatible. Device manager has initial status of my GPU as disabled with Code 22. I reenable it and it is now listed as Code 31. I shut my pc off for like 5 mins to let my dog out, relaunch it and still have the error. Reinstall the AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition app from the website ( AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition™ Application - download link) Download works fine and suddenly my right monitor recognizes the gpu again and functions as normal.

After doing some poking around, I found it had a recovery partition. After running this, The drivers loaded just fine!
