Wireless charger recommendations?
I have several Anker 313 wireless chargers around the house and they worked fine with my Note 9. They're capable of fast wireless charging BUT the AC adapter that comes with them isn't strong enough. Had to bump them up to a more powerful AC adapter. More on reddit.com

How to Properly Position Your Phone on a Wireless Charger?
To charge your phone, you'll have to place it on either a charging pad or a charging stand, depending on the charger's design. It's worthwhile to note that when using a charging pad, you should position your phone in the center facing upwards to ensure optimal charging.   If you're using a charging stand, it's important to align your phone correctly with the stand so that it charges efficiently. By keeping these tips in mind, you can enjoy wireless charging with total convenience.

Can Wireless Chargers Drain Your Phone's Battery?
Wireless chargers do not drain your phone's battery. Just like portable power stations and power banks, a wireless charger solely transfers energy from a power source to your device. Using a high-quality wireless charger to keep your phone's battery level above 50% is more beneficial than waiting until the battery drops below 10% before charging. This can help extend your phone's overall battery lifespan and ensure that you always have enough power whenever you need it.

January 9, 2025 -

The USB charging on my Note 9 seems to be a bit unreliable lately. A couple of times, I've plugged in the cable and woke up to find that my phone hasn't charged at all. Other times it can be fine.

I'm thinking of getting myself a wireless charger, but I'm unsure if I should be looking for a magsafe type as I also have some Anker P20i Earbuds that 'might' work with Magsafe?

Any advice would be appreciated

Edit : I think Magsafe is just for Apple products? I don't have any.

TL;DR: Try changing the USB cable first with a quality cable like Anker or Ugree. If that doesn't work, buy a Samsung wireless charger. Try replacing it with a good quality cable first like Ugreen or Anker. USB cables also wear over time which gradually slows down charging. For wireless chargers, stay away from UGreen Uno. I've bought 2 of those recently (one for office and one for home) but had to return one (and sell the other one to my workmate who has an iPhone since I've already opened it and can't return open-box items) since my S24 Ultra cannot use the 15W charging capability of it. It does charge, but it's veeeery slow, like at least 3 hours from 20% to 80%. It does indicate it's for iPhones but I never knew it doesn't fully support Android phones. I asked an FB group of S24 users that I'm also in, and it seems the only way to use "fast wireless charging" is to use Samsung's own wireless chargers. I ended up buying the "Super Fast Wireless Charger Duo" since I also have Buds 2 Pro and Watch 5 Pro so I can charge both my phone either of my accessories at the same time (also 2 as well, but from those who got them as a freebie and didn't use them). Fast wireless charging works on my S24 Ultra and also on my Note 9. There's also the non-Duo one if you don't have a watch or earbuds. I've tried a wireless charger before but it also charges my Note 9 very slowly so I've stuck with cable charging. Also, fast wireless charging = normal cable charging.

I used this new Android feature every day before I gave up for good
2 weeks ago - The wireless charger holds up my phone, while the cable charges it at a significantly faster rate. Since I've established my new setup this week (or perhaps, reestablished my old one), I've never left home with my Pixel 10 Pro below 95%. I've reluctantly admitted that Qi2 isn't all it's cracked up to be. Wireless charging stands are a useful asset. Knowing you can put your phone down and it'll start charging is convenient, and they work great as stands for watching videos without draining your battery.

How do I enable wireless charging on my Android phone?
January 23, 2025 - If you’ve already got a wireless charging pad and you’ve discovered that your Android phone doesn’t have this capability, there is something you can do about it. There are wireless charging adapters that connect to your phone’s charging port and sit flat against the back of your phone to allow you to use wireless chargers. These are also widely available for purchase, and most of them are inexpensive.

The best wireless chargers for iPhone and Android in 2025 | Tom's Guide
October 3, 2025 - The majority of new smartphones work with Qi wireless charging, an open standard used by all sorts of chargers. But iPhones have their own MagSafe standard (or MagSafe 2 in the case of the iPhone 16 and iPhone 17 series) which has become a focal point for the best chargers on this list due to the popularity of Apple-made phones. But with the introduction of Qi2, based on MagSafe, Android phones are becoming capable of using these chargers as well, either natively with the Google Pixel 10 series or with the installation of a magnet ring or specially-designed case.

October 16, 2025 - Rapport London Formula Wireless Charging Tray for $475: Yes, this is an obscene price for a Qi wireless charger. You can probably make a version for a fraction of the cost. But Rapport's build quality is quite nice, with a lacquered grey box and a soft-touch fabric to keep your watches and phone scratch-free. It reliably recharged several Android phones without making them too warm, all while offering storage for a few watches.
