Hey does there exist any affordable 3 in 1 wireless charger that work for both android and ios devices?
I got one off amazon for £20 however it doesn't charge my android watch when placed in the watch charging area.
and i do plan on upgrading to apple watch since I have an iphone and airpods.

Oh I disagree so much.
I find placement on this pad to be an utter pain in the ass. For my Galaxy S6, Note 7, Galaxy S8+ and Note 8 placement needs to be precise. Sometimes it'll look like you got it on the first placement, then a minute later all charging will stop. Sometimes it'll charge for an hour, and then stop altogether.
I don't have that issue with the new Samsung convertible charger. Likewise, I don't have that issue with any of the cheap, similarly-styled puck Qi chargers I've purchased.

There’s the thing with 3 in 1 chargers: you either pay a lot and get a good product that doesn’t overheat and damage your battery or you pay low price for bad product. No real way around it :/

You'll have to take a look at the wattage of the phone's capability. The S22 supports 15 watts wireless charging and the OnePlus 9 50 watts. There's currently only one wireless charger which supports 50 watts and that one is from OnePlus itself [source] . This also supports 15 watts charging for 3rd party devices [more info here] . qi charging is the universal standard for wireless charging, all phones support it (even iPhones). But these currently don't go over 15 watts. I know Anker provides some high quality wireless chargers. They're known for their good quality/price balance. Idk what you mean with long term. But I wouldn't be surprised if 30+ watts becomes the new standard for wireless qi charging in 2 years. Innovation in technology never sits still. More on reddit.com
