Help, I'm looking for the best large conference room mic? - wireless
Wireless conference room multi-mic/speaker system for non-permanent rooms?
You need a voice lift system. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ur2HYUYxXQs
Very complicated. Hire this out.
Also, omnidirectional mics are usually very frown for sound reinforcement. They will feedback like hell. You need directional mics, probably in front of each person. How many people on the U?

I'm sure this is a painful question for those here.
I'm on a non profit of a small group that has moved to hybrid meetings.
With about 8-10 people in person and 4-5 virtually I'm trying to find a good way to capture audio for virtual attendees and broadcast their audio. It also needs to be portable as we meet in different spaces.
We're currently using a Bluetooth Anker mic/speaker which sucks.
We're just looking for something inexpensive, hoping to keep it under $2k if possible.
We're just looking for a "good enough".
Thank you.
Our executive assistant is recording board meetings on location, and will be the only 'technical' person available so a complicated AV setup is a no-go. We need a simple system that will let her connect two or three conference microphones (the setups often include multiple tables in an L or U shape) to her laptop to record into standard office conferencing apps (like Zoom or Teams).
This means the microphones need to show up as a single audio device in Windows, and work together to pull the best audio source for each speaker. This is the requirement that's really blocking me. I have no idea how to achieve it, or where to even start.
Bluetooth or a wireless dongle might be more convenient, but the venues may have excessive wireless interference so a setup that offers a wired option (such as USB to a hub) would be safer, even if less convenient for the assistant.
My budget is $1000. Got any suggestions? If that's not possible given the budget, what is a more appropriate target budget?
