January 18, 2022 - It’s been a while since I read the books, but why would Falka be in Blood Origin? Isn’t she just a couple of generations older than Ciri? ... Not sure yet. She could be in a vision of the future for example, just like Ciri has a vision of her from the past in the books. ... I don't even care anymore. Netflix ruined the Witcher, and it was so easy to get right. ... Why is she in season 3?

r/witcher on Reddit: Holy hell this is painful to watch.
June 22, 2023 -

Blowing off some steam.

It actually feels like work to watch this show. I should stop watching but I’m trying to power through cuz I’m a fan of the Witcher, which this show isn’t, but whatever.

I’m on Season 3 episode 6. I had to pause the show and take a break. I think this is the worst the show has been so far. That’s saying something. No wonder they broke up the season, otherwise everyone would have stopped here. It’s SO corny. The magic looks stupid. The interactions and drama are so fabricated and meaningless. The viewer has 0 stake in anything going on. I can’t speak for you all, but I don’t give a rats ass about these mages.

Someone please tell me it gets better lol

I can’t STAND “Yennefer”. It’s not the actresses fault because she shouldn’t have been cast and you can’t blame her for trying but oh my god it’s so awful. I also don’t know if it’s the direction the writers wanted to go with her to make her seem like her whole personality is a front in which case the actress is doing a great job.

“Yennefer” just said something and I let out an audible groan. That’s when I paused.

As a fan, it’s disappointing seeing them change what the Witcher is but more than that, this is a bad show structurally.

Geralt and Ciri are pretty solid.👍🏼

Imma get back to the grind of enduring the episode y’all be safe
