August 11, 2025 - Will I watch season 4? Of course and I so excited about it. ... I could not care less about the video games or books. The comparison to source material is Imo the worst argument to decide if a show is good or not. Well that explains why....I mean you can enjoy it. That doesn't mean the criticism is wrong or invalid though. They could have easily made the same show without The Witcher branding and it would face far less backlash.

August 13, 2025 - Like, people liked early GOT because it demonstrated a willingness to be independent of the medium’s constraints (e.g. by killing characters or ignoring them for long stretches). But the second a show reminds you that it’s a show, immersion is broken, and this new Witcher season definitely seems like A Show. ...
