With season 1 rated 54, the fourth season is currently at 59 via critic reviews. But of course, we have already seen the significant difference in the user ratings thanks to a certain "passionate" fandom review bombing this season everywhere.
Edit: Since the comments are moving the goal post, this is a reminder we're discussing critics' reviews and not viewership numbers.
Hi folks,
There's some really interesting data in that gigantic datadump Netflix have just done of all the most watched shows this year. Because it might be of interest to you all, here's the relevant parts:
Witcher Season 1 comes in at 171st most watched show, 72.2 million hours watched.
Witcher Blood Orgins is next, 202nd most watched, 65.3 million hours. This really surprised me.
Witcher Season 2. 233rd most watched. 59.3 million hours.
Witcher season 3. A fairly catastrophic drop to 556th. 33.4 million hours watched.
Witcher - Nightmare of the wolf. 5507th. 2.4 million hours watched.
So, yeah, some really surprising numbers in there. Who thought Blood Origins would have been so much more popular than Season 3?

I found the article again! But I misread it and it just spoils you on ciris story. the Wording confused me as a non native english speaker and I apologize for the misinformation..
I guess the team is just crumbling down due to low watchtime numbers?
If somebody can read german I'd gladly link up the article (if I find it again that is)
Alright, fellow witchers and sorceresses, let's have the real talk. The tavern’s empty, the wines gone sour, and we’re all staring at the same wanted poster for a show we used to love.
With Season 4 on the horizon, but without our white wolf Henry Cavill, and the godawful showrunner still at the helm, I have to ask the question we’re all thinking: are we just going to be hate watching this?
